About Us
History:
Mike's Welding is a family business owned and operated by Michael Pratte and his sons. Michael Pratte has over 27 years of experience in the welding industry. He started his career in the shipyards of Rhode Island learning the trade and earning many certifications. He then moved to Phoenix City, Alabama where he first started his business making hand railings for the Phoenix City Housing Department. Looking to expand his business, Mike started producing Steel reactive targets for the military on Fort Benning, GA. He supplied the base with targets for many years until he fell in love with the beautiful North Georgia mountains and decided to move to Murrayville, Ga.
He has since then decided to reopen his business in North Georgia selling Steel Reactive Targets and welding.
Service Areas:
Located in the North Georgia Mountains, Mike's Welding serves many local communities such as Gainesville, Cumming, Alpharetta, and the Lawrenceville/Suwanee area. We also cover most Atlanta Metro counties.
